Under the supervision of the Chief Admin Officer, this full-time position will be responsible for all accounts receivable duties, as well as assisting with accounts payable responsibilities. This position is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to support the overall accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work at a fast pace, and have strong attention to detail. This position is based out of the TEI corporate office, located in Chesapeake, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain precise records of all incoming payments
Prepare and send invoices to customers
Contact customers as needed to ensure payments of outstanding invoices
Reconcile any irregularities in receipts
Work collaboratively with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure accuracy in finances
Assist accounts payable with invoicing, data entry, and other duties as assigned
Respond to and resolve customers billing issues and questions via phone and/or email
Generate financial reports and/or statements detailing accounts receivable status
Ensure proper invoicing on all TEI contracts as per specific terms and conditions of contracts
Any other duties as assigned by the CAO

REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 3 years accounts receivable and/or other accounting experience
Strong knowledge of industry standard accounting software programs
Should have a "team first" attitude and maintain our team atmosphere even in stressful situations
Must have the ability to work under pressure
Must have interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and data entry
Must be a detail oriented individual with excellent time management skills
Must pass a drug screening
